Ely Netball Club looking for new players for third team!
Due to the increasing popularity of the sport, Ely Netball Club are delighted to be entering 3 teams into this years summer league, starting in May, and are looking for players to join it's newly formed third team.  Training takes place at Littleport Leisure Centre every Thursday night from 7:45 - 9pm, with a Level 2 coach attending every other week.  Players of any standard are welcome. 

Winter 2006/07 Success
Congratulations to Ely 1 and Ely 2, who both had outstanding seasons.  Ely 1 finished second in their first season in Division 1, narrowly missing out on the top spot and promotion to the Premier league.
Ely 2 reached the play-offs in division 3, but missed out on promotion to division 2 for the next season.

Three teams enter the Winter 2007/08 Season
For the first time since Ely Netball Club formed, they have entered three teams into the Cambridge and District Winter League.  The newly formed third team are starting in the fourth division, and the rest of the club wish them the best of luck in their first season.

Congratulations Ely 1!
After just their second season in division 1, Ely 1 came top of the league to secure promotion to the premier division.  Losing just one match in the season, Ely 1 are looking forward to the challange of a new league, and are hoping they might even be able to win a match or two! Congratulations to Ely 2 and Ely 3 as well, who both struggled with injuries and low player availability, but still put in some impressive performances.
